She was born in China but was raised in Japan (however she has no memories of it and was found by a lone bandit that was her adoptive father. ). she still thinks it's home but loves to travel.
Mayume was a young girl who was raised by bandits from the age of 10.
Mayume was still to young to do big jobs like raids , Mayume would be told to pickpocket after she was shown how to.
during the time the bandit would go to the big city's to sell the stuff they stole she would be told to run off to pickpocket to earn her share, as Mayume got older she earn more then her share.
Mayume was 16 she was interested in trade and travel but at the time she was made a full member of the bandits, she was given scars to mark her as a member, all that were the shape of an X , located on the top her hands and below her shoulders the back of her neck and her back.
during Mayume free time she would study travel and trade and sewing but has bad lock with travel for she always getting lost which in her case saved her life, the bandit went on a raid and all of them died. Mayume spent the last 2 years traveling for..... yeah she doesn't know what she really going to do with her life but she make the best of it.

Mayume always an odd one she can see things that others can't such as ghost or auras of other's though she appears a weak frail Lady she's more than capable of taking care of her self. and she has this odd abilities to float in the air sometimes.
Mayume sword is an odd style but has an odd aura to it. how she got her sword, well she was traveling in the woods one day when she came across an old made dress in Chinese attire. She wonder what he was doing here in the woods somewhere in japan, she went to see if he was ok. The old man found it odd that she was Chinese but dress as a Japanese, but also saw she had an odd aura about her almost similar to a mystic. He than ask her for aid and she agreed, he than lead her to a cliff to where a sword was stuck 25 feet above them, he ask her if she could get it for him. normally it would be impossible without any help but just then Mayume Began to float she rose to the blade and pulled it from the cliff. The old man could not believe it, the young lady could float. when she got to the ground the old man praised her, she handed over the blade, the old man placed a spell one the blade and chanted strange word Mayume did not understand. the old man then revealed that he was a mystic traveling through japan to collect scrolls of the history in japan, also that she can keep this blade and know she goes with a mystic blessing. Mayume Never really used her sword but believes that it will help her one day.

"But I wonder what he did to this sword and was that old man really a mystic?"
